After many years of sharing our Barbet news and writing about the growth and development of our Barbet puppies we retired the blog at the end of 2020. All of the past entries remain posted so feel free to take a look around and scroll through previous posts to get a feel for the breed, our dogs and how we raise our litters. More information about the Barbet (French Water Dog) can be found on our website: www.northrockbarbets.com

Boomer is a Canine Animal Blood Bank Donner
Yesterday at the Club Canine Chomedy show in Terrebonne, Quebec, Boomer (Northrock's All Night Boogie ROM) participated in the CHUV - Canine Animal Blood Bank. Thank you to his generous owners, Robert Souchereau and Sylvie Marleau for bringing him so that he could make his first donation A single donation from one dog can potentially help save the lives of four dogs! Boomer handled it well and was a very relaxed Barbet. After donating, his blood was checked to make sure it was healthy, to see what blood type it is and a brucellosis test run.

We Have News!
Good news for Mango and Marie!
Thank you to Mango's owner Annick Lavalle at Barbet-Frankia for helping to make this breeding possible.
We anticipate that these puppies will have many of the wonderful qualities their parents possess, especially their outstanding temperaments. If you are interested in a puppy for show, performance or as a loving companion please visit our website for more information about this breeding.
