Introducing Oscar

This past weekend my good friend Nellemarie and I travelled to beautiful Baie Saint Paul to bring home a puppy who will join our Northrock family of Barbets. Barbevoix Oscar de Northrock. The joy on the faces of Nelle and her family when we brought him home made me so happy. Thank you so much to his breeder Catherine Verge for using Oscar's sire, Northrock's All Night Boogie for this breeding with her female, Barbevoix Spezia dit Holala. Catherine has done such an amazing job raising the litter and Oscar has an incredible temperament. He is well adjusted, gentle and happy. It was a very long drive home and he handled it exceptionally well. 

We are thrilled. It was a great trip to Quebec and we are delighted to have made a new friend in Catherine. I'm already looking forward to the next time we will all be together again!

Puppies Born at Barbevoix in Quebec

It's with much joy that we share the news of a lovely litter of 8 Barbets born at Barbevoix on April 6th. Bred by Mme. Catherine Verge these puppies are out of Barbevoix Spezia dit Holala and Northrock's All Night Boogie (Boomer). There are 5 males and 3 females. Mother and puppies are all doing well   

Many thanks to Catherine Verge for considering Boomer for this breeding and to Boomer's owners Bobby Souchereau and Sylvie Marleau for their friendship and co-operation in helping to make this litter a reality.

Puppies are born at WulYmut Barbets

We are happy to share the good news that on January 14th, 2017 a pretty litter of two healthy females was born at  WulYmut Barbets. Northrock's All Night Boogie "Boomer" and WulYmut's Jelly Tot "Emma" are the sire and dam. Congratulations to breeders Heath and Helen Kenyon. Many thanks to Boomer's co-owners Bobby Souchereau and Sylvie Marleau who helped to make this litter possible.

Upcoming Litter at Northrock Barbets

Northrock Barbets is happy to share that Ellie (URO1 CH Northrock’s Eau de Joy CGN) has been bred to Boomer (Northrock’s All Night Boogie) and we are expecting puppies mid January!

Ellie is a friendly Barbet with a calm and gentle nature.  She loves to swim, even in the coldest water!  Ellie has a UKC rally-obedience title and a CKC conformation title.  

Boomer is a fun loving Barbet.  He is a sweet dog with dark brown eyes and a gentle expression.  Athletic and well proportioned, he is a moderate male with a lovely temperament.  

Both Boomer and Ellie have OFA Good hips, normal elbows, eyes, heart and thyroid. They are both clear for dilution. Clearances for both dogs are available on the OFA public database.  

With this breeding we hope to produce healthy puppies with good structure, type and temperament that will make outstanding companions.
